Over the last week or two we have been operating in stealth mode, slowly opening the doors of early access to EDGE card, a brand new product from Tweeq. Firstly, we want to thank you all for your incredible enthusiasm for its launch! The response from our community has been truly overwhelming.

We understand many of you are still eagerly awaiting access and we share in your excitement. We however pride ourselves in getting things right and to ensure an exceptional experience for all, we need to take more time to do just that. We really appreciate our current testers for their invaluable feedback, we’re learning a lot from you and we’re really humbled by everyone who is writing to us asking us to join you with access.

The Tweeq EDGE Card is a unique virtual platinum card with an innovative rewards system. With the EDGE Card, users can enjoy various perks, including cashback rewards and merchant-specific offers. The primary goal of the Tweeq EDGE Card is to incentivize cardholders to use their credit cards frequently while enjoying an array of rewards.

The EDGE Card also integrates different offers, providing cardholders an added benefit layer, enhancing the value they get from their everyday transactions.

Are there any issuance, monthly, or annual fees associated with the EDGE Card?
No, the EDGE Card has no issuance, monthly, or annual fees, and there are no hidden fees.

How can I request or activate an EDGE Card?
After issuing a Tweeq Mada card through the app's main page (cards section), you can issue an EDGE Card. Both cards are free and draw funds from the same SAR account.

What are the key benefits of the EDGE Card?
The Edge Card unlocks a suite of exclusive perks designed to enhance your travel and spending. Key benefits include:

• Lounge Access: Enjoy complimentary, unlimited access to 25 regional and international lounges, offering a relaxing space during your travels.

• Global Reach: With access to lounges and low transaction fees, the Edge Card is your perfect travel companion, whether for business or leisure.

• Dynamic Offers & Discounts: Unlock continuous dynamic offers for ongoing savings in various categories.

• The lowest transaction fees are at only 1.7% on all your international spending, making global shopping more affordable.

Are there any merchants excluded from EDGE card rewards?
Rewards are available for most transactions, both locally and internationally. However, some transactions are excluded. Please refer to the terms and conditions for details.

What happens after the initial 90-day offer period?
After the 90-day period, we will continue to offer exclusive discounts and perks.

Can the EDGE card be added to mada Pay or Apple Pay?
Yes, the EDGE card can be added to both mada Pay and Apple Wallet for easy and secure mobile payments.

Is it possible to get a physical version of the EDGE Card?
A premium physical card version of the EDGE Card will be available soon. Stay tuned for updates.

What will happen if my card expires?
If your card expires, don’t even worry about it, we will take care of that, and we will issue you a free new virtual card.

Is there a chance Tweeq will freeze my card in case I don’t use it?
If we notice that no activities are happening in the account for a long period, we might freeze your account, and we will inform you before any action takes place; upcoming are the scenarios that could lead to freezing the account:

1. Zero balance for 90 days since the account opening

2. Zero balance for 4 years after using the account

3. ID/Iqama expired without updating it or doesn’t update the personal information for a long time

4. the account has been inactive for 5 years

5. Exiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia permanently (non-Saudi users).
